JEWELLERY

For this new summer season, Artcurial’s jewellery departement, headed by Julie Valade, will  offer

 A stunning pair of Hippocampe drop earrings named ‘Animal World’ by  Chopard. This limited  edition  (15  copies)  is estimated at 30 000 – 40 000 €/ 32 000 – 43 000 $.

 A platinum and white gold necklace with cut diamonds by Boucheron (estimation: 50 000 – 70 000 € / 55 800 – 78 200  $)  will  also  be  on offer.

 A ‘compression’pendant by  artist  César made  from  18  (750)  gold  covered  in cabochon sapphire, emeralds, diamonds and white stone is estimated at 6 000 – 8 000 €/ 6 500 – 8 500 $.

 Collectors of fine jewellery will be attracted by a white gold ring decorated with a stunning 55ct diamond, estimated at (40 000 – 50 000 €/ 44 000 – 55 000  $)  or  a  platinum  and  white  gold  bracelet  with  baguette  and navette cut diamonds, estimated at (50 000 – 60 000 €/ 55 000 – 65 000 $).

 

COLLECTOR WATCHES

Artcurial’s collector watch department headed  by Marie Sanna-Legrand has been on a constant rise and progressed almost 50% between 2013 and 2014.

 A star  of  watch  auctions,  a  superb Rolex  will  be  represented  by  a  gold GMT  Master.  This  iconic  watch  with  dual  time  zones,  graduated rotating bezel and a chocolate coloured watch face is estimated at 10 000 – 15 000 €/ 11 000 – 16 000 $.

 The Breitling brand will  present with  a  limited  edition  (20  copies)  gold Navitimer Perpetual Calendar watch with split-chronograph function which is estimated at 12 000 – 18 000 €/ 13 000 – 19 000 $.

 Other highlights include a Patek Philippe Nautilus « White Gold » and a gold Piaget Eye of Tiger watch and a Cartier Tank Obus.

 

HERMÈS SUMMER COLLECTION

Since 2005, the Hermès vintage sales created by Artcurial have become an international reference.  Year after year the  auction  house  reinforces its position as world leader in this field. Pénélope Blanckaert has recently joined Artcurial as Director of this department. Her experience, sharp eye and knowledge of fashion history, makes her the ideal expert to sought out original and rare pieces.

Fashion aficionados and collectors from around the world can get ready for this summer event.  They  will  discover a  ray  of  colours  from  the carefully  selected  lots  including  special  commands,  unique and  iconic pieces made from rare and exotic leathers and skins. Highlights include this magnificent ‘Kelly’ bag made from orange crocodile (estimate: 25 000 – 30 000 €/ 27 500 – 32 500 $) and a ‘Birkin Himalaya’ model made from mat Nilo crocodile (estimate : 50 000 – 70 000 €/ 55 800 – 78 200 $).

A collection of 15 exceptional dresses by Franck Sorbier will also be on sale during this week.
